He then went on to set up Adlabs’ International Operations under the aegis of Mr. Manmohan Shetty and was head of Saregama Films. Madhu Mantena also ran Ram Gopal Varma's production house Factory which produced films like Company, Road, Bhoot and Sarkar. In 2008, Madhu Mantena debuted in his personal capacity as a film producer with his very first film, ''Ghajini'' which was Indian cinema's highest grosser ever during release.
